Very quiet, smelled so nice, really clean snow white bedding and towels, very comfy mattress. fantastic free breakfast with items for food allergies, biscuits and gravy, crispy waffles, fresh fruit. The usual but just much better than other places . We stayed at so many hotels and motels in the budget category. This was a real stand out. It's not new and shows a little wear, but it really is a great value, Ken, the owner is so nice He helped us with a big reservation problem. We highly recommend it.
We ended up here after our original booked accommodation did not meet our expectations. The staff member was friendly on the phone when I called to see if they had vacancy. We were able to check in quickly and quite surprised how large our room was. Although an older establishment the room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good, they were out of most of the refrigerated items but we were there off season during the week. I enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese and saw other guests enjoying the biscuits and gravy. The waffles smelled great too!
Stayed at the Serena Inn for a wedding this summer, to say they went above and beyond would be an understatement. Not only were the rooms clean and comfortable, but the front desk was beyond helpful and accommodating. The wedding venue had a shuttle to our hotel, but not back to the venue the next morning. When we asked the front desk about setting up a ride, the guy offered to find us one and they brought us themselves. In a rural area without taxis and Ubers it was a big life saver and not at all in their job description! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it if you are in the area!
For a small town it was great. Good location and room rates were good. Did not have sufficient bath towels for the 2 of us and we were running short of time to be at an event we needed to go to. Staff was friendly and always on the property.
Been staying here for a few weeks due to work. Very satisfied with the stay here and the people behind the desk. Very respectful and willing to negotiate with anything. Breakfast is good. Ken has been taking care of my stay here and is very welcoming. Love the guy
Staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. This was a great value for the price. The location is the very quiet edge of town. The room was a tad small (3 of us) but the sink and mirror were outside the toilet and shower which is always nice. A/C worked great, beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast offerings were like most other places we have stayed the past 13 days we’ve been on the road. There was plenty to pick from to fill ya up. Again, the eating area was a tad small, but this is a 2 star hotel so I don’t feel this is a big deal at all. Would stay here again.
We were on our way through the Black Hills for Labor Day weekend and stayed in town after going to Devils Tower. The hotel was clean and quiet. The bed was comfy and the A/C was nice and cold. The lady at the front desk was an absolute doll. I want to say her name was Karen or Carol, (sorry horrible with names). The Continental breakfast had a lot to choose from and the coffee was really good. For a small town hotel I would say Serena was top notch. I would stay here again if in the area. Thank you for comfortable evening and a good night sleep.
Very clean place over-all. Hot tub wasn't working/filled but the pool was great! Decent breakfast. All at a very good deal/affordable price. Thank you!
